A Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG), also called a High Shear Mixer Granulator, performs dry mixing, binder addition, wet massing, and granulation of pharmaceutical powders in a single closed GMP-compliant bowl. A bottom-driven impeller circulates and mixes the powder bed while a side-mounted high-speed chopper breaks lumps and controls granule size — producing dense, free-flowing granules ready for drying and tablet compression.
