Vacuum Tray Dryer (VTD)
The VTD operates under reduced pressure. Product is loaded on stainless steel trays inside a sealed chamber. A vacuum pump lowers chamber pressure, reducing the boiling point of moisture/solvent in the product. Heat supplied through hollow shelves (hot water, steam, or thermic fluid) evaporates moisture at temperatures as low as 30–40°C — protecting thermolabile APIs from degradation.
Tray Dryer (TD)
The Tray Dryer operates at atmospheric pressure. A fan circulates hot air through the chamber over product-loaded trays. Simple, batch-type operation with low capital cost and easy maintenance — the most economical drying solution for thermally stable products.
Fluid Bed Dryer (FBD)
The FBD suspends granule particles in an upward stream of heated, filtered air. The fluidized state ensures every particle contacts drying air on all sides — delivering highly uniform, rapid drying in 20–60 minutes versus 6–24 hours for tray-based dryers.
